Garden waste collections, payment and missed green bins
Angus garden waste is a paid service. A green bin will not be emptied just because it is at the kerb; it needs a valid subscription, a valid sticker and correct contents.
Annual charge
The annual charge is £55 per bin. Angus says there are no exemptions or concessions, and each subscribed bin needs its own sticker.
Sticker rule
Angus sends a sticker after payment. Bins without a valid sticker will not be emptied.
Timing after payment
The sticker may take up to ten working days to arrive. Allow seven working days from payment for routes to be updated before collections start.
Winter break
For the 2026/27 season, Angus lists no garden waste collections between Friday 27 November 2026 and Monday 7 February 2027.

Angus says to look around your street first because bins and caddies can get mixed up with neighbours. If it is still missing, report it online; a replacement is usually delivered within five working days.
Damaged bin
Minor damage may still be usable. If a large crack, lid, wheel or axle is damaged or missing, report it. If the damage was your fault, Angus lists replacement charges.

Extra bins

Do not force bulky waste into a purple bin or leave it beside the bin. Angus has a separate special uplift route for accepted household items.
