Children and animals

Children and pets must stay inside the vehicle throughout the visit.

Protective clothing

Eastleigh reuse and sales area

Offer usable furniture before throwing it away

Eastleigh has an onsite sales and reuse area. Good-condition furniture and household items may be diverted from disposal and sold for reuse.

Best reuse candidates

Clean furniture, tables, chairs, storage units, bicycles, household items and usable electrical goods.

Keep labels attached

Keep fire-safety labels on upholstered furniture to improve the chance of reuse.

Tell staff early

Say that an item may be reusable before unloading it into a disposal container.

Damaged upholstered seating

Keep damaged fabric and foam contained because POPs material requires controlled handling.
